Since we're emerging from our coma around here it's been nice to get together with our buddies again. This morning we went over to a friend's house with a son that goes to Jack and Theo's school. He won't be in either of the boys' classes but it's always nice to know kids they might see on the playground or something. The boys played superheroes and had a nice time together!
This afternoon Juliet came over for a while and the superhero fun continued. We read some books and also did some painting. Sometimes she's my rent-a-daughter and it's fun having a fellow girl around. Jack will be going to play over at her house tomorrow while I take Theo to meet his teacher at school. It really is a blessing to have a friend to switch off childcare duties with when needed :) Especially during the day time when school is still out!
