Halloween 2012
We had a Halloween party and went trick or treating with friends tonight. Here's the photo booth making an encore appearance tonight. I didn't get all of the kids to go for it, but here are the ones who did.

Pumpkin Carving
We carved pumpkins tonight. It was quite the adventure since we couldn't locate any of our carving tools and were too lazy to go buy more. The boys picked designs off the internet and I free handed the pattern. We used regular steak knives to carve and thought we would never finish. Dave had to come step in for Jack's pumpkin. Here are the finished products: Harry Potter logo and a Lego face pumpkin man.
School Crafts
The boys had their craft day at school. Jack's class painted pumpkins, played Halloween bingo, and had a photo booth. Theo's class decorated scarecrows and cookies. Both boys had a fun time.
I snapped pictures of the hallway outside the boys classrooms during the teacher conferences. Feels like Fall in there.
Halloween Happenings
We've been staying busy doing our daily Halloween count down activities. Here is a compilation of some of the things we've done. Getting new Halloween towels, decorating the boys' door upstairs, trying on costumes, plus lots of treats along the way. Cousin Cameron sent the most precious (and yummy) cookie bouquet. Dave also took the boys to a local comic book store for a super hero themed party. We're squeezing in the fun before Halloween day!

Field Trip to the Pumpkin Patch
I organized an after school field trip to a local pumpkin patch this past Friday. The boys and I go every year, so it was fun to share the fun activities with friends. The owner of the farm presented our group with a speech about the pumpkin life-cycle. Jack and Theo enjoyed the 2+ hours they spent at the farm :-)

School bake sale
I got to work a bake sale last week at school. I loved seeing the boys and their friend. The bake sale raised $375!

Wrapping up baseball
We missed some games when Dada passed away, but had the opportunity to finish the season with Jack's team. I'm not going to lie, it was very hard to get back out there. It seemed like grandfathers were everywhere :-( Jack played wonderfully and was given the game ball for the championship game. He was part of a great team with really positive coaches. Fall Ball ended up being an awesome experience.

Sweet Distractions
These little fellas helped lighten the mood last week. :-). The thrilling tales of Super Diaper Baby 2 and its potty humor definitely worked.
