All of our decorations are up, inside the house at least. I got Jack and Theo a small tree for them to decorate with miniature ornaments at Michael's today (hey, it was on sale and I couldn't help myself!). I figure they can put it in their room (Jack's right now) for years to come. *thanks for the idea Melissa!* Our stocking are hung and so far, so good Theo-wise. He walks right past them right now. I can't wait to get some Christmas cards to place above them on the mantle :)
Eli the elf has come back to visit us! Jack was so excited for his arrival and is always the first to spot him each morning. It's been great having Eli around. He helps curtail whining, gets happy plates and is a great extra set of eyes ;)

Great decorations! We have a tiny tree for the boyos, too - it's mine from college *old, no?*
Eli. He's magical, that one. Ours is doing the trick - for all but numero dos on the pot. We're working on it.
Glad I could help you out with a tradition! :-) By the way, Avery pulled on one of the stockings one year and the very heavy stocking holder fell right on her face. So now, there are small nails in the back of my mantel and fishing line wrapped around each holder. Those suckers aren't coming down now!
cute decorations, but you might have to wait on the christmas cards! i don't think anyone can beat you to it--in the mail the day after thanksgiving--damn, you're good! ;)
