I saw this idea on Pinterest and loved it! I customized it for us by writing prayer requests in red marker and things that we're thankful for are written in purple. The boys each grab a stick before we say Grace and then we read the request or praise that is written on the stick. We've also been teaching Jack all of the responses during church, like the Doxology, the Gloria Patri, and Lord's Prayer. My friend Amy is doing Lenten Projects and we've adopted this as our project in lieu of giving up something for Lent :) Great idea, Amy!!
