I somehow narrowed down the endless cute pictures of Theo from his one year portraits and had this one printed up. I ran to Michael's and got a frame to hang right next to Jack's one year portrait. Jack's picture was framed differently and it really did not look as "stunning" next to Theo's frame............. so off to Michael's I went to get a matching one for Jack. Here they are, side by side. My beautiful boys at one year old.

Fishing at the pond
Dave and I put in a work day in the backyard today. Our old (and smashed) patio has been hauled off, leaving debris like you wouldn't believe in its wake. We swept up broken glass, pine cones (giant pine tree that smashed the patio- not ours!), leaves and branches galore. Raking the enormous amount of debris was overwhelming! We took a break from it all and went to our subdivision's pond. We fed the ducks and let Jack "fish" with the rod that Uncle Dane got him last year. Theo just chilled in the swing. He's the most relaxed swinger ever. He won't even sit in the seat, just hangs out all extended and calm. Then we let them loose on the playground equipment. Jack held Theo down the twirly slide. They both loved that one.

Toddlearn
Our parish fair is going on this weekend and all of the kids are out of school today b/c of it. My MOM's group met up at Toddlearn for some free play and both kids had a blast. Theo was all over the place. He was climbing up giant pyramids and steps (all soft) and playing with everything in sight. He really hated being confined in the ball pit, oddly enough, and tried his best to get out. Jack had a blast playing with Alyssa since he doesn't get to see her all that much anymore. Now both boys are napping and I think that is a sign of a fun day!
