I got to celebrate Mardi Gras with Theo's class today and help them make all sorts of fun things. There were 4 moms there and we were busy! We helped the kids decorate masks with sequins and feathers, string dyed pasta onto shoelaces, paint King Cakes, and frost donut King Cakes to eat! We ran out of time to second line around the playground with hankerchifs so that will be fun to do another day. I always leave Theo's classroom thinking that his teacher has earned her wings in heaven :) The 11 boys in the class can get rowdy, especially after eating sugar. Ha ha!
