Prayers for Gigi

Many of you already know that Dave's mom had brain surgery last night. She had a subdural hematoma that had old and new blood on her brain. She just hasn't been feeling well and nothing was improving. She got weaker and weaker and fell a few times this past week. Evidently she hit her head and developed the new hematoma this week. The more chronic bleed could date back all the way to this summer. She had two bore holes drilled into her skull to drain all of the collected blood and it was successful. Her MRI this morning was clear, meaning no new blood was seen. Very good news. She's in ICU at Tulane Hospital and will be through the weekend. Hopefully each day will bring more improvement in her mental status and physical strength. Please lift her up in your prayers. She is so loved by us all, especially her grandsons.
