Our subdivision had an Easter party this morning. We've been shut-ins all week long and were determined to go get out of the house. We put the boys in their Easter clothes and dug out the Easter baskets. We've got some work to do on their baskets so Jack used his old basket from 2 years ago.
Jack did the neatest Easter craft....... the pan had marbles that would move around all of the paint that he dribbled on top of his paper Easter egg. It was the coolest thing I had ever seen! Jack also got an egg tattoo on his hand. Theo pretty much trotted around bumming candy off of his dad. Jack was happy to sit with the Easter bunny (remember last year he would not go near him) and Theo was the one who freaked out. Maybe next year both boys will be in to it.
Next the boys moved on to hunting eggs. Theo's age group was in the tennis courts. He collected a whopping 3 eggs. Once he figured out that they opened and had candy inside, it was all over. Jack's age group hunted on the soccer field. He did much better than his brother. He ran around a little bit but was very sad when he couldn't eat any of his candy. Maybe in a few more days.
