Sports Travel and Tour
We wrapped up our baseball game tour last night at Oakland Collusieum for the Red Sox vs. A's game. We had seats on the 2nd row directly in front of the Red Sox bullpen. The stadium reminded me of the LSU stadium (not fancy like the other stadiums we visited), but it was awesome and we had a great time.
I snapped a group picture of the 30 people on our tour after last night's game. All different walks of life were represented! But everyone was nice and good times were had by all :)

Semi Finals
The Braves advanced to the semi-finals today with a win over the Dodgers. The team had a pot luck lunch at the park afterwards and the coaches handed out trophies to the kids. The head coach said something positive about each player and what he said about Jack is that he takes direction well, can be counted on for hits, and always has a great attitude and smile on his face. We play the Red Sox tomorrow for a spot in the championship game. Fingers crossed :)

Playoffs
Baseball playoffs began tonight and the Braves won their first game! They advance on to play the Dodgers on Saturday. Jack was 4-4 with hits and that made this momma proud! The team was on fire tonight and scored 23 runs (lost count, but I think) to the 10 from the other team. Hope they can keep this up for the rest of the playoffs :)
Chamber of Secrets
Jack just finished up the 341 page Chamber of Secrets, the 2nd book in the Harry Potter series :) The 3rd one is waiting for us at the library and we are watching the movie right now. Go Jack!

Sanctuary Swim Meet
The boys' swim team had timed trials today and rocked the house! The kids just compete for their own personal best times, so no pressure (which is great, especially for Theo). Little Theo really kicked it into high gear today and swam all the way across the pool by himself! He's normally so relaxed during practices and just kind of floats around. He had a great stroke and even kicked. We may have a future Michael Phelps with Theo ;)
Jack was on fire as well and gave it his all. I think some healthy competition is a good thing for the boys!
