Ahhhh, rescue pack

Coming to the rescue! Jack dug out this Diego rescue pack and it's a perfect size for Theo. Theo proudly wears it all around the house. He walks around the house saying "ready, set, go". It's cute :)

Throwing the ball around

Dave took Jack to get a baseball glove today. He's really shown an interest in baseball/t-ball lately. Dave showed Jack how to throw the ball and tried to get him to field balls with his new glove. He caught on quickly...... sorry the pictures are blurry.... he was moving fast!

Theo's trip to the beach

We'll count it as Theo's first "real" trip to the beach since last year he was just under one and truly hated the sand. This time around he was much more into the sand and even had fun digging with a shovel. He had a ball running around the shore and getting his feet wet in the ocean water (the water is still frigid, so no farther than just feet). Jack and dad had fun building sandcastles and digging holes in the sand. Theo is feeling so much better, but teething is still plaguing us............

Yum

I let the boys eat the chocolate bunny from their easter basket. I knew it would get messy so I banished them to the balcony. Both boys made short work of their bunnies and Theo was covered in chocolate (he apparently just shoved most of the body in his mouth and was drooling chocolate).

Happy Easter!!!

We're here with Dave's folks at Gulf Shores for a week. Theo came down with a high fever right after I tucked him into bed on Friday. I had literally just tucked him into bed too! I took him to urgent care on Saturday and the doctor thought he had strep. He's on antibiotics and round the clock tylenol. On top of that, he's cutting all 4 molars, all 4 eye teeth and incisors. Literally every tooth in his mouth is cutting all at once, minus the 8 he had previously.

Jack has been having a blast at the beach! He loves to play in the sand and to hunt for shells. Dave and I have buried him in the sand more times than we can count. We've also taken him to the indoor pool here at the condo a few times. Theo has stayed indoors and basked in the attention of his grandparents. Hopefully he'll improve before we have to leave so we can actually take him out to the beach!

Here's a couple of pics of what the Easter bunny brought the boys. In their masculine easter baskets (ha ha ha). Jack loved hunting for the eggs and Theo loved eating the contents. Gigi and Jack capped off the day by dying easter eggs. Hope all of you had a happy easter.

Haircuts for all

All the boys, that is. The Hadskey men invaded Stadium Cuts today and monopolized the chairs for a few minutes. Theo has only been to one place and that one place has a firetruck seat. He's always done so well with haircuts that we got brave and took him to Jack and Daddy's special place. He just sat there and relaxed, occasionally watching Barney on the tv, but mostly just chillin. Such a contrast from Jack at this age. I used to have to strap him down and shave his head in the backyard while he screamed and got sweaty from tantruming. Always made for a fun time since the hair would stick to his wet body. Thank you for being more calm about hair cuts, Theo!

Peeps!

My friend Dawn sent Jack a surprise today. She made him the cutest card and sent him some Peeps to eat. He loved them, as did brother bear and I. Jack follows up with the ENT on Wednesday to see how he's healing up. Each day gets better and better, thank goodness.
