Up close and personal

Not the best pic, but here's the progress with Theo's top teeth. That he's been cutting for months. That are coming in really, really far apart. Think it has something to do with his constant thumb-sucking? Still cute as a button though!

Aquarium

We have a season pass to the zoo and aquarium, so we put it to good use yesterday and opted for air conditioned fun! Theo rode in the stroller the entire time and enjoyed being able to look at things. He looked at the fish and mainly people watched. Jack wanted to see sharks and really loved looking at everything. There was a play area that Jack made good use out of before indulging in some ice cream. We even took Jack to see some barges on the river afterwards. It was a great way to beat the heat!

Theo, crocodile hunter

Aunt Christy passed down this adorable safari outfit to Theo. It was a rare occasion without a bib... just for you Aunt Jen. We called him baby Steve Irwin all day :)

School CD

Here's a random shot from VBS this week. I was in the craft room with the 6 and under crowd. It was fun, but exhausting! I totally give my teacher friends major props. Jack's old Kehoe teacher gave all of the children CD's with music that they listened to throughout the year. Here Jack is listening to the firetruck song. It instructs you to "get out your hose" and "put the fire out".

We're doing VBS at church this week. Theo is in the crawler room, Jack is with the young 3's, and I'm in the pre-K through 1st grade craft room. We're all having lots of fun. I'm going to have to get someone to take a picture of us, which is hard b/c we're in 3 separate rooms. But, here are some recent pics. It's a rainy day and we've been hanging out indoors for once. Theo is obsessed with his green octopus (thanks great aunt Robin) and anything that Jack plays with!! This, of course, bothers Jack to no end. Theo is pulling up on things like crazy, but no cruising. It will only be a matter of time I'm afraid..........

Drool much?

Here are our boys in their LSU regalia (too bad they lost in the college world series). Theo is a drooling monster these days thanks to his S L O W cutting top teeth. Teeth take him months to cut for some reason. He still has only his bottom two teeth and the top front teeth have barely cut through the gums just this week.

Whew. The Weill family came to town for a visit this weekend. The kids had a blast together and played in the backyard for 2 days. We took the kids to the waterspouts today for some water fun. Then we came back here to eat lunch before the Weill's headed home. Thanks for visiting Clay and Christine. We had so much fun!!
