Water day

We went to a water day on Friday at Tank and Luke's house. Boy did Jack have a blast! He did not want to leave, but boy did he nap hard when we got home. Theo hung out with his girlfriend, Juliet, and watched the older kids run around. Thanks for having us over Jennifer!!

Celebration and goodbye

My old playgroup friends and I went out to celebrate a new baby on the way and to send off a good friend. My friend Jennifer is going to have her 3rd baby next month and Christine (the one slicing the cake) is moving back to the New Orleans area. Her house flooded in Katrina right after her daughter was born. We'll miss Christine and can't wait to meet baby Kyle.

9 Month stats

Theo is 22 lb 1.5 oz and is 29 3/4 inches long. His head was a whopping 18 7/8 inches around. Big big big. 90% for length and 75% for weight. What's scary is that Jack was even fatter at that age. By 2 lbs.

Cooling off

We had some time to kill after Jack's swim lessons this morning, so I brought out the ginormous pool for the boys. Before Jack saw it, he was asking if he could practice swimming and blowing bubbles. Not exactly kiddo. But Theo enjoyed splashing around..... until he crawled outta there.

While the cat is away......

Theo was all up in everything he could get his hands on in the playroom this afternoon while Jack napped. I tell Jack everyday that he needs to put up anything that he doesn't want Theo touching (or eating, as I say). He did a pretty good job... but what Jack doesn't know won't hurt him ;) I have a feeling the baby gate on the stairs isn't far off.....

Gettin' out

It's hot, hot outside, but the kids have to get out. Maybe I do too ;) We met up with some friends from the Mom's club this afternoon around 4 at the waterspouts. It was perfect b/c there wasn't a huge crowd at that hour. Theo's girlfriend Juliet came and they made eyes at each other for a while. Jack ran around and had a blast. It's 7 pm sharp and he's already in bed. We'll definitely be going back in the late afternoons for more fun!

Triplets?

You may think that, but no, we visited my friend Carrie and her twins, Mark and Ella while we were in Houston. We were able to snap these pics of the kids. Posing 4 kids 3 and under was tough work! Especially since the "triplets" are mobile now. Theo learned a trick or two from Mark and Ella, like how to go from crawling to sitting. Jack brought his doctor kit and the 3 little ones attacked it after he finished playing. Each had a different piece in their mouth! Thanks for having us over Carrie. Just think, next visit, they'll all be WALKING. Yikes!
