Triplets?

You may think that, but no, we visited my friend Carrie and her twins, Mark and Ella while we were in Houston. We were able to snap these pics of the kids. Posing 4 kids 3 and under was tough work! Especially since the "triplets" are mobile now. Theo learned a trick or two from Mark and Ella, like how to go from crawling to sitting. Jack brought his doctor kit and the 3 little ones attacked it after he finished playing. Each had a different piece in their mouth! Thanks for having us over Carrie. Just think, next visit, they'll all be WALKING. Yikes!

Poo poo present

So, we've had this exact poo poo present up on our fridge for months. We told Jack whenever he, well, you know on the potty, he'd get the present. He did! He did it on his own and we were all so excited!!! He is so proud of himself and loves playing with his new present. Yea Jack!

Swim lessons

Jack started swim lessons this morning. He did a great job blowing bubbles and kicking his feet. He's really excelling at pottying like a big boy too......... so we're crossing our fingers!

Bye bye diapers

We took the plunge today (just got back from Texas last night) and "threw out" Jack's diapers. We've been discussing this for a good while now but decided to wait until after our trek across Texas was over. We have a sad bucket for wet underwear and a reward chart for pee-pee successes. So far, so good. Jack is still napping in underwear and I pray for dry sheets. The only thing we have going on all week is swim lessons in the mornings.... so we'll hopefully get this potty thing down before summer camps starts up next month. And Jack's preschool in the Fall!!!

Elise's baptism

Theo and I took a break from potty training to head down to New Orleans for Elise's baptism. Arnaud's family flew in from France a week ago to visit their new grand-daughter and brought over her baptism gown. It was my first ever Catholic baptism! It was great to meet Arnaud's family and to see all the Hadskey relatives. Cousins Ryan and Ashley were there with their 3 girls (Jack and Theo's 3rd cousins). Theo really took a liking to his younger cousin Ansley. New mom Katie is doing great and looks amazing. I snapped a great shot of her with her sister Anne and brother Patrick.

Cousins

We visited cousin Corinne yesterday and had a blast. The kids played inside for a bit and then headed out to the covered patio for some pool fun. Corinne loved baby Theo and had fun helping me feed him lunch and his bottle. Jack loved chasing Corinne around (last time they did this Corinne was just a touch over a year old and couldn't run) and she kept pace with him. We're getting the kids together again before we head back home for the subdivision pool. Should be fun!

Theo Jolie-Pitt?

I've thought that Theo resembled the world's most famous toddler ever since I saw his little face at my 37 week ultrasound. The shape of his mouth is a dead match to hers. His blonde hair and blue eyes......... well, I just couldn't help but compare! Humor me!
