Crepes for mommy!

Dave got up extra early this morning to whip up a delicious breakfsast for me! He made 3 different types of crepes for me and even brought a mimosa :) I ate some of it in bed and then joined my boys in the living room for the rest. Happy Mother's day to all my mommy friends out there.

Theo!! No!!!

I've been saying this phrase a lot today. Theo crawled right over to our cable box and DVD player and started touching it (lovely). Then, I started feeding him dinner and thought "I should grab the camera". While I stepped away to get it, he grabbed his food off my placemat. We re-inacted it for the blog. He's a stinker and Aunt Jen would be pleased to know that he's every bit the grabbykins like his cousin.....

Going, going.......

Gone. Yep, Theo is mobile. Has been for about a week now. He does this weird caterpillar movement to get around. Not an army crawl like Jack did. It's funny to watch, but let me tell ya, he can get around doing it. I manage to keep him near the green blanket by enticing him back with toys, merely b/c he's our resident spiter and I'd rather throw the blanket in the wash than clean the carpets everyday. Don't think I'll be pulling that off much longer though....... so I bought a carpet cleaner!

Hi!

Theo has started waving his sweet little hands when you say Hi to him. It's perhaps one of the sweetest things I've seen him do! He was a waving fool at the picnic!!

Church picnic

The Missions committee I'm on at church hosted a church picnic today. Dave brought the boys by for some fun. Jack had a blast getting his face painted (he he), petting animals, eating a snoball, and eating lots of good food! Theo also ate lots of good food too and pretty much hung out in the stroller the entire time. We headed over to The Heraty's house after the picnic for Aidan's christening celebration. Jack got to bounce again with his best friend and all of her cousins. What a fun day!

Gary is home!

Our friends, Clay and Christine, have been waiting over a year to adopt a baby from Korea. They had two children, but always felt the urge to adopt from a foreign country. Well, little Gary was born on my birthday (in July) and now he's finally here! Clay flew out to San Francisco on Friday and the nuns from Korea flew with Gary and 3 other children. Carter and Avi are in love with their baby brother. Little Theo is excited to have a playmate for the beach next year! Welcome home Gary!!!

The artiste

Jack has recently started drawing people, complete with facial parts, fingers, hair, etc. It's really neat to see his creations turn from scribbles to recognizable drawings! He is also really into playing games now. He busted out with a game of hide/seek yesterday to my surprise. He really likes to pretend play going to the grocery store and "purchasing" items for me from my list. Theo has been lurching forward now vs. just rocking on his hands and knees. Won't be long before this pose will be history...... :(
